Two brothers. Smart, inventive, driven by a vision: Together, they took over their father’s company – founded in 1994 in Scharfenstein/ Erzgebirge – and successfully developed it from a small turning shop into a sought-after Tier 2 supplier in Marienberg. What started as a small company with only two production rooms now has more than 150 employees, an advanced machine park with single-spindle and multi-spindle machining centres, and its own training workshop for the training of highly skilled junior employees.

Unconditionally aligned with the needs of the customer, with a firm focus on what the market demands, our company has undergone dynamic and rapid development in recent years. From a small business, we developed into a progressive medium-sized company with a far-reaching reputation as a reliable supplier of precision turned parts.

PRECISION TURNED PARTS

We reliably manufacture your precision parts on state-of-the-art machinery. The combination and supplementation of different technologies and processes act as the guarantee for the cost-optimised manufacturing of your products.

We process steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and all other machinable materials.

As a series turning shop, our focus is on medium and large series solutions. However, we are also optimally equipped for smaller quantities as part of an SOP or sample production.

A wide range of machinery and the latest measuring technology guarantee continuous quality, even with high quantities.

EVERYTHING FROM ONE SOURCE

We mill, harden, grind and assemble complex precision turned parts. 50 million parts leave our halls every year. In doing so, we process over 5,000 tonnes of steel. How do we manage these quantities? With the latest machining and inspection technology, with optimised production processes and the continuous training and further education of employees. This ensures that we always provide the perfect products for a demanding market.

We place the highest value on reliable suppliers and committed employees. This enables us to react quickly, flexibly and reliably to customer requirements.

From the first prototype production, through series production, to the after-market area, we always remain in close contact with our customers and work out the optimum solution together.

Subsequently, we always aim to map the entire production process in-house. So that you get everything from a single source – quickly, cost-effectively and comprehensibly.

100% INSPECTION

As a reliable supplier to the automotive industry, we do not tolerate defective parts. This claim is confirmed by our certification according to IATF 16949. The highly developed Quality Management System, as well as the latest sensor and measurement technology, guarantee the highest quality.

In order to achieve maximum quality, our team is supported by customised sorting automation. Almost any sorting task on our turned parts is conceivable on these individualised systems.

In addition, parts from our customers’ production can also be inspected. We are able to perform the task according to your criteria on our automated, optical sorting systems.

Like in a perfectly organised clockwork, one cog meshes with the other at MEYER Drehtechnik GmbH: Our highly effective quality management approach is certified according to IATF 16949 and exceeds the usual standards of the automotive industry. Intensive staff training, precise work instructions and highly motivated employees ensure quality work at the highest level. Our 3D measuring laboratory, equipped with the latest precision measuring technology, underlines this claim to delivering the best quality.

We respect and protect our environment. It is, therefore, very important to us to work in a way that conserves resources.

We minimise production-related waste by feeding it into a regulated recycling process. Among other things, we separate lubricants from turned parts and chips, and return them to the production cycle. Our central hall air extraction system increases air quality while simultaneously recovering heat for heating purposes.

We use the waste heat from our production machines to feed the underfloor heating of our logistics hall 400m away by way of underground pipes. In this way, we make optimal use of heat as a by-product and can almost completely dispense with fossil raw materials for heating.

Our environmental management is certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 since 2023.

Since the foundation of MEYER Drehtechnik, we have allowed all members of our team to share in the company’s success.
